Cupid,

Explain to me what true love is, please. Thanks.

Hi Justin,

I am really glad you asked this great question. True love is unconditional love. It is love that is given freely without placing conditions on the other person. It means that the other person doesn’t have to do anything special or be anything else in order to receive your love. Regardless of what they do or don’t do or who they become or didn’t become, they never lose your love. It’s simply unconditional, just like the way Papa god and Maman goddess love you. It is, “I love you, no matter WHAT.”

So in that sense, true love is also unconditional forgiveness. However, when I say that true love is unconditional love and forgiveness, it doesn’t mean that we have to sacrifice ourselves at our own detriment. If someone you love is hurting you on purpose, for example, you can still love them and forgive them no matter what, yet also not allow yourself to get hurt (through releasing, through setting boundaries).

I hope this answers your question! Thank you for asking it because this is going to help so many people. I love you!
